They may also cause other health issues such as infections, jaw pain and dysfunction if not treated. That is why we recommend yearly dental check-ups and preventative measures as an important part of good oral health.
Some signs and symptoms to watch for if you suspect your pet may have dental issues:

- Whimpering
- Aggression
